Clothesline Art is my new project for 2025.here at RJsMosaics. As the name implies, it is not about all those expensive paintings that line most big city museums with contributors names above each door. Instead, it is about looking at every day life as art.
Since I became infatuated with abstract art last year, there will be a heavy dose of my version of that, but it will also just include images of things we see every day, but often don’t think they are worth celebration.
Like the 2024 project of my Mosaic Wall, which is on the wall behind me, clothesline art will be displayed on another wall here in my RetCom (retirement community). The clothesline art wall is made up of manila twine and miniature clothespins. Unlike the Mosaic Wall which was totally 5×7 photos, Clothesline art will be a hodgepodge of different mediums, sizes. and compositions. In other words,
Expect The Unexpected!
I hope to even surprise myself with the diversity of what will be found there.
