I never tire of giving you yet another picture from one of my many trips to Pleasant Hill Shaker Village. I really don’t know how many times I have visited this site. Whenever I feel down and just want to get away, this is usually my destination.
Shaker furniture, which I love, is usually known for its simplicity, but there are many places throughout the village that demonstrate the complexity and its corresponding beauty of their crafts. The stairwell in the Trustee’s Office is certainly one of those places.
